The Podenhaus - community, pleasure and history

Shining in new splendor, the Podenhaus offers its guests a very special sense of well-being and unforgettable moments in the heart of Ausseerland.

After renovation, the spacious and generous building now houses eleven comfortable apartments and guest rooms, which makes the stay an exciting journey back in time to the history of this very special place. The spacious rooms of the Bel Etage, which are available to all guests, become a place of encounter and casual togetherness in temporary community.

There and in the adjoining dining room with its imposing long table, casual get-togethers of temporary residents are facilitated and encouraged. In the communal kitchen with access to the picturesque garden, it is possible to cook, bake and then enjoy meals together, if desired.

via the A2 Südautobahn, the S6 to St. Michael, continue on the A9 Phyrn-Autobahn, take the Liezen exit to the Trautenfels junction - turn off to Ausseerland

from direction Vienna, Linz

via the A1 Westautobahn, take the Regau exit as far as Gmunden, continue on the B145 as far as Bad Ischl, turn off into Ausseerland/Liezen

from Salzburg

via the Tauernautobahn A10, exit at Golling, continue on B162 in the direction of Lammertal, past Abtenau to Gosau, continue to Lake Hallstättersee on the B166, keep left in the direction of Bad Goisern, turn onto the B145 in the direction of Bad Aussee/Liezen

from direction Carinthia

via the A10 Tauernautobahn, take the Eben exit, continue on the B99 in the direction of Hüttau, past St. Martin am Tennengebirge to Rußbach and Gosau, continue to Lake Hallstättersee on the B166, keep left in the direction of Bad Goisern, turn onto the B145 in the direction of Bad Aussee/Liezen
