Advent in Styria

Day 1: Arrival. Dinner at the Hotel Liebmann with a warm welcome from the hosts. Your group raises a toast to an unforgettable time.

Day 2: Advent atmosphere at the Lipizzaner stud. Pick-up by a tour guide at the hotel. Your group visits the Lipizzaner Stud Piber, where the world-famous stallions of the Spanish Riding School in Vienna are bred. After a winter tour around the stud, a short drive to visit the famous Hundertwasser Church of St Barbara. Lunch in Bärnbach. In the afternoon, your group will be treated to a wealth of experiences at the Farmer-Rabensteiner Experience and Gourmet Farm. Here, around 50 farmers showcase traditional crafts and regional cuisine in a joint exhibition. Dinner at the hotel follows.

Day 3: Graz, the capital of culinary delights. During a stroll through the old town, your guests will get to know the city of Graz from its historical origins to the present day. They will discover highlights such as the imposing ‘city crown’, comprising Graz Castle, the cathedral and the mausoleum, or the beautiful Italian Renaissance arcaded courtyard of the Landhaus, where the ice nativity scene can be admired during Advent. There will also be free time to visit the numerous Advent markets in the city centre. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 4: Christmas on the Castle Route. A tour guide joins the group near Gleisdorf. At Kornberg Castle, the lord of the castle welcomes your group personally and takes them on a journey through time, exploring the house and the family’s history. The widely renowned Christmas exhibition in the vaulted rooms showcases numerous gift ideas and regional handicrafts. At lunchtime, your group heads to the Vulcano Ham Manufactory, just a few kilometres away and equally festively decorated. Around 2.30 pm, return to the hotel, with an optional visit to another manufacturer such as Zotter Chocolate or Gölles Vinegars & Spirits. A cosy dinner at the hotel with musical entertainment concludes the day.

Day 5: Farewell to the Liebmann family & team.
