Spring holidays in the Green Heart of Austria

Spring in Steiermark is a celebration for all senses. When the sun tickles your nose after a  long winter and the temperatures climb upwards, there is probably no more beautiful retreat than the local gardens. Whether under shady trees or among fragrant, colourful flowers, it is here in colourful nature that the Styrian way of life fully enters the heart.

Fancy a picnic? In spring, Steiermark shows its colorful side. The apple blossom starts in Eastern Styria on the Apple Route, the wine blossom in the south and east, the daffodil blossom in the Ausseerland Salzkammergut region and the alpine meadows in the north turn the mountains into a pink world.
