Grosseck Speiereck summer cable car
Mauterndorf
The leisure mountain “Speiereck” can be easily reached via the cable cars from “Mauterndorf” and “St. Michael”. The mountain stations are located at an altitude of 2,000m above sea level.
Amidst the magnificent mountainous landscape of the Niedere Tauern, a variety of tours are offered for hikers, cyclists, mountaineers, and nature lovers.
At Speiereck, there is something for every nature lover: hiking from leisurely to high alpine, mountain biking, climbing, bouldering, cycling, and much more.
For younger guests, playgrounds and balancing courses at the top stations, adventure stations along the Sonnenhangweg, a bowling alley, a climbing and bouldering wall, a double zip line, photo points – and a children's land right at the valley station are offered.
The "Sonnenhang – Weg", an easy 3 km long hiking trail, is also suitable for strollers and wheelchairs. Transportation of wheelchairs and strollers with the gondola lifts is free of charge.
Huts and restaurants in the mountains and in the valley will spoil you with delicacies.
