• Only for a short time, the cherry blossoms bloom at the Rosenhain: a special spring event that one should definitely see at least once.

Spring begins in Graz a little earlier than in other parts of the country. Parks and gardens are already decorated with snowdrops and crocuses at the beginning of March, and benches invite visitors to linger in the sun. In addition, on 21 March 2026, the Styrian capital will be under the motto “Bloom” – an exhibition by the Universalmuseum Joanneum, which addresses the themes of new beginnings and renewal at several locations.
