Follow the trail of the Lipizzaners: Cycle from Piber to the Alps and 'Heiligen Wasser,' discovering hidden spots and stunning views.

he Lipizzaner Tour is ideal for E-bikers due to its length and elevation gain. However, for regular cyclists, it presents a challenging ride. With E-bikes, the pure cycling time is about five hours, but there are also two shorter variants. The highlight of the tour is the "Holy Water" – this mountainous section should not be missed.

Along the route, there are many great stops and sights, from an elegant golf restaurant to a cozy wine tavern. Not to be missed are the world-famous Lipizzaner Stud Piber and several churches and chapels, including the Maria Lankowitz Pilgrimage Church.

The route is diverse: it leads from the flat southern area with fields and meadows through well-maintained towns, the remote Teigitschgraben, through the town of Köflach, and up to the alpine region at the foot of the Gleinalm. The cycle path is well connected to the S-Bahn network (GKB), making it easily accessible for cyclists from Graz and other regions.

For those who prefer a more relaxed pace, the tour can be spread over two days.
