Learn about the composition of clay and get an overview of the possible uses of clay and ceramics.
Shaping
Soft clay is shaped into the volcanic region cup – calm, focused, by hand. You will experience the moment when formless material takes on a clear, simple shape. The clay is meant to be touched – cool, earthy, alive.
Time and Fire
Dried pieces show the next step in the creation process. What happens in the oven remains invisible – yet is crucial: A brief insight into the firing process explains how heat and patience transform clay into ceramics. Take a look inside the oven, which reminds us: shaping takes time.
Creating with Feeling
With selected stamps, patterns, textures, and colors, you give your cup expression. Perhaps understated like stone, perhaps flowing like water – in the end, the cup carries your personal touch.
A Piece of Memory for Home
We take great care in finishing it. Within about three weeks, your very own volcanic region cup will arrive at your home – ready for coffee, tea, and beautiful moments.

Cancellation information
Attention: Minimum number of participants: 4 persons
If fewer than 4 persons have registered up to 2 days before the start of the event, the workshop cannot take place and your participant fee will be fully refunded.
You can cancel free of charge up to 2 days before the start of the event - please send us an email or call us. For cancellations 1 day before the start of the event, we have to charge 50% cancellation fees. For cancellations on the same day or no-shows, the full amount will be charged.
