In the publicly accessible Herb-Rose Garden in the heart of the herb village of Söchau, around 120 different medicinal herbs unfold their soothing power. With varying growth and flowering times, the garden accompanies the entire summer season with scent, vibrant colors, and quiet moments in nature.
During special guided tours , the fascinating world of herbs is revealed – from their healing effects to their mysterious charm.
Another soothing stop is the adjoining Kneipp path with water troughs and footbaths. Especially on warm summer days, the cool water provides refreshing moments and new life energy.
One can also linger beautifully in front of the small, charming Herb Chapel, dedicated to Saint Hildegard of Bingen, and find peace.
In the Witch Garden, a special collection of poisonous herbs such as belladonna, mandrake, and monkshood grows. Due to their potent effects, this mysterious area is accessible only as part of a guided tour.
Duration of the tours is approximately 1 hour.
In the Witch Shop, lovingly crafted herbal products from the region await discovery.
Tours take place only in good weather!

Arrival information
From the A2 Southern Motorway, take the Ilz-Fürstenfeld exit and drive on the B65 towards Fürstenfeld until you reach Großwilfersdorf. There, turn towards Söchau and follow the road to the town center.
The Söchau Herb Show Garden is located in the village and is appropriately signed.
Parking facilities are available in the immediate vicinity.
