Beautiful circular route through the districts of Fohnsdorf without any significant inclines, also suitable for beginners. Along the way, the cozy restaurants invite you to linger, or you can relax in our Aqualux Therme after the tour.

Your journey from:

VIENNA (approx. 2 hours)Take the A2 to the Seebenstein junction, direction S6 Semmering. Follow the Murtalschnellstraße S36 to the Judenburg Ost exit. Turn right towards Hetzendorf on the L516 (Judenburger Straße). After 1.7 km turn left into Karl-August-Straße, after 500 m turn left into Thermenallee.

LINZ (approx. 2 hours)Take the A1 towards Salzburg. In Sattledt change to the A9 towards Graz as far as the St. Michael i.O. junction. Continue on the Murtalschnellstraße S36 towards Klagenfurt until the Judenburg Ost exit. Turn right towards Hetzendorf on the L516 (Judenburger Straße). After 1.7 km turn left into Karl-August-Straße, after 500 m turn left into Thermenallee.

SALZBURG (approx. 2 hours)At Salzburg Nord take the A1 towards Linz Wien, at the Voralpenkreuz junction take the A9 towards Graz as far as the St. Michael i.O. junction. Continue on the Murtalschnellstraße S36 to the Judenburg Ost exit. Turn right towards Hetzendorf on the L516 (Judenburger Straße). After 1.7 km turn left into Karl-August-Straße, after 500 m turn left into Thermenallee.

KLAGENFURT (approx. 1 hour)Klagenfurt Ost on the A2 towards Graz Wolfsberg. Exit Bad St. Leonhard onto the Obdacher Bundesstraße B78 in the direction of Zeltweg. Take the Zeltweg bypass onto the S36, direction Klagenfurt, after approx. 2.5 km take the Judenburg Ost exit. Turn right towards Hetzendorf on the L516 (Judenburger Straße). After 1.7 km turn left into Karl-August-Straße, after 500 m turn left into Thermenallee.MURAU (approx. 1/2 hour)Follow the Murtal Bundesstraße B96 towards Scheifling. Turn left onto the Friesacher Bundesstraße B317 towards Judenburg. Follow the Murtalschnellstraße S36 to the Judenburg Ost exit. Turn right towards Hetzendorf on the L516 (Judenburger Straße). After 1.7 km turn left into Karl-August-Straße, after 500 m turn left into Thermenallee. 

This loop through the municipality of Fohnsdorf with only 184m difference in altitude is suitable for everyone. The starting point is the Aqualux Therme. Turn left along the footpath to Wasendorf. Follow the signs to the right or after approx. 100m to the left. The route leads along the so-called railroad embankment to the main square in Fohnsdorf. Past the soccer stadium to Dinsendorf, through the small village of Sillweg with its little church, the route continues to Rattenberg to Gasthaus Perschler. From Rattenberg, the route leads along a country lane to Aichdorf and Landhaus Wilhelmer. Along the Pölsbach stream, a gravel path between fields and meadows leads to Hetzendorf. At Hotel Schloss Gabelhofen, a footpath leads over the Pölssteg bridge back to the Aqualux Therme Fohnsdorf.
Stop off in Rattenberg for a hot tea at Hotel Perschler and a game of nine-pin bowling at Landhaus Wilhelmer in Aichdorf - and then relax back at the starting point in the Aqualux Therme! This is how you can spend a great winter afternoon!

The bus stop is located directly in front of the spa entrance!

The line connects directly to the train station in Judenburg, which also provides optimal connections for guests traveling further afield. www.regionalbus-aichfeld.at
