The forest nature trail in Zeltweg illustrates the secrets of the forest in an understandable way. This short hike is suitable for families with children and as a short break in between. From the S36 Murtal expressway:

Take the Zeltweg West exit.

Take the B78 in the direction of Zeltweg.

After approx. 2 km, turn left onto Pfaffendorfer Straße.

Follow the road to Pfaffendorf.

From Graz (approx. 1 hour drive):

Take the A9 Phyrnautobahn northbound.

At St. Michael, change to the S36 Murtal expressway in the direction of Klagenfurt.

Follow the steps above from “Zeltweg West”.

From Klagenfurt (approx. 1 hour drive):

Take the S37 Klagenfurt expressway in a northerly direction.

At Judenburg, change to the S36 Murtal expressway in the direction of Graz.

Take the Zeltweg West exit and follow the steps above.

Go straight ahead at the parking lot and take the left fork to get directly to the Mur. Go left again to extend your walk and visit this branch of the path. At the end of the path, you can turn around again and experience the rest of the path. Go straight ahead and follow the path in a circular loop, go straight ahead, follow the path to the right, continue straight ahead and turn right again until you get back to the starting point.

Of course, you can also experience the adventure trail individually and explore the paths criss-cross.
