A bike tour with a lot to see and explore, which also includes a small climb. The tour is an easy enjoyment tour in the adventure region Murtal.

The Swiss stone pine shapes the region culinary and with numerous products. On the tour you will find the pine store Frewein, which is one of the leading companies in the region with its in-house pine oil production. Just like the farmer's delicatessen Mandl, which is also the tourism info partner in Obdach and offers numerous stone pine products. Whether soap, schnapps or wood products - the Swiss stone pine accompanies us here. We continue to the ruins of Eppenstein Castle. The pilgrimage church of Maria Buch is a very special stop on the tour in the Murtal adventure region.

Leave the Murtal Schnellstraße S 36 at Zeltweg West until the roundabout at the M-Rast service area. At the roundabout, follow the Gaberl Bundesstraße. Take the third exit at the roundabout.

From Weißkirchen we drive to Eppenstein, where there is a worth seeing excursion destination, the ruin Eppenstein. The trail continues via Schwarzenbach to St. Georgen in Obdachegg, where we can fortify ourselves after a somewhat steeper climb at Gasthaus Koppler. From St. Georgen the trail leads us further to the Obdacher Sattel, there we cross the main road and head towards St. Anna am Lavantegg, but already after a few meters the trail leads us back to the market town of Obdach. The village of Obdach invites you to linger in its guest gardens. After a break, we return via the Obdach district of Rötsch in the direction of Eppenstein and Weißkirchen. Before returning to Weißkirchen, the path leads us via Baierdorf to Maria Buch. In Maria Buch you can visit the pilgrimage church. The trail continues via Fisching to Großfeistritz, via Kohlplatz back to the starting point Weißkirchen.

At the ruins of Eppenstein there is a bike & hike station. Here you can "park" your bike and take a short hike up to the castle ruins.

Sufficient parking spaces are available at the main square in Weißkirchen.
