Kulmberg Forest Trail

Moderately difficult cross-country ski run, classic & skating, 14.5 km in length at 1,080 to 1,260 m above sea level.
The fairytale forest on the Kulmberg is the wonderful backdrop for this great, sporty trail. The further course also brings you down to the sunny Vorberg and on the west side of the Kulmberg back to Ramsau-Ort.

From the west:
Take the A10 to Knoten Ennstal - take the exit towards Graz/Schladming. Drive along the Ennstal-Bundesstraße for approx. 20 km until you reach Schladming. Take the turn-off for Ramsau. Continue to the village of Ramsau where the XC-stadium is located.
From the East/North:
Take the Pyhrnautobahn direction Liezen. Then follow the Ennstalbundesstraße to Schladming. Take the turn-off for Ramsau. Continue to the village of Ramsau where the XC-stadium is located.
The trail runs along the following junctions:
Stadium - Kreitseiler - Rosegger - Herold - Kulmberg - Kulmberg South - Friener - Stocker - Schneeberger - Kobaldhof - Greimlbacher - Rittisser - Helpferer - Kreitseiler - Stadium
On the foothills you can attach a loop on the "fairy tale" (Märchenwiese) meadow.
With the buses of the Ramsau transport company from Schladming (also from the train station) to Ramsau-Ort. Ramsauer Verkehrsbetriebe Timetable www.rvb.at.
Parking available at the "Ramsau Zentrum" next to the stadium.
