Drive through Bretstein and Bretsteingassen into the Bretsteingraben. The Hansbauer parking lot is located along the Bretsteinbach stream on the right-hand side.

From the "Hansbauer" parking lot via the forest path past the "Tubayhütte" (1456), via the marked hiking trail in the direction of "Tubaysee". Then turn right onto the Hochschwung.
