Family hike with many fairy tale stations
A magical hike for the whole family is the fairy tale trail on the Rittisberg. You hike along a newly created forest path to the Rittisstadl. In between, various fairy tale stations promise great entertainment. Kids should take a good look at the stations - because at the Rittisstadl a very special surprise is waiting for them.
Note: Due to the construction of the new cable car on the Rittisberg, a bus shuttle will be offered this summer.
The path is not NOT suitable for baby carriage. It is a challenging path.
Arriving from the west:From the west you can take the Munich-Salzburg motorway, continuing on the Tauern motorway (A 10) until the Ennstal junction. From here take the Ennstal A-road (the B 320) for around 30 km into the Schladming-Dachstein region, then take the Ramsau am Dachstein turn-off.
Arriving from the north:From the south-east take the Pyhrnautobahn motorway (A 9) to the Liezen junction and then the Ennstal A-road (B 320) into the Schladming-Dachstein region. Then take the Ramsau am Dachstein turn-off.
From the Rittisstadl you go downhill in an easterly direction along the cable car. The path turns right and after a short time you come to the junction - here you follow the path to the right again. After about 400 meters you turn left and follow the Fairytale Trail to the valley.
