The Reichensteinhütte is located at 2128m above sea level in the immediate vicinity of the summit of the Eisenerzer Reichenstein with a wonderful view of the Erzberg, the Dachstein, the Gesäuse and even the Semmering.
The shortest ascent is from the Präbichlerhof Inn on the Präbichl and takes 2 - 2.5 hours.
There is room for about 70 people in the generously equipped guest room.
As a delicacy Grammelstrudelsuppe. Kaslabersuppe, Buchteln and Topfenstrudel served.
If you want to experience a sunrise, you can stay overnight in one of the cozy rooms or in the dormitory.

The winter room of the refuge is open all year round.

approx. 6 hours

Trofaiach -Hafning: via the Hirnalm - Krumpalm and Krumpsee and Reichhals to the hut ca.3,5 hours
