Welcome to Krasthaus! Where tradition meets modernity. The highlights - 100 year old farmhouse - Harmony of tradition and modernity - spacious living ambience - beautiful, quiet location with a view The old wooden beams and thus the framework of the Ziegler-Jogl House are over a hundred years old and they still stand exactly where they were originally built. A mix of antique and modern furniture determines the high-quality style of the interior design. Our little gem is located near the Slovenian border, at the foot of the Remschniggalm and therefore at the beginning of the South Styrian wine route. We would be happy to inform you about hiking or cycling routes far away from noisy traffic. The old Ziegler-Jogl House was lovingly renovated in 2023 and equipped with products from local companies. During the renovation, care was taken to ensure that the old wooden beams, which run through the entire house and thus form the soul of the house, were preserved. These give today's Krasthaus its unique ambience - tradition meets modernity. When it comes to furnishing, care was taken to select companies from the region whose craftsmanship is as unique as the house itself. This is how you sleep on air core mattresses from our partner company Wolkenreich. The room furniture and the spiral staircase were lovingly made by local carpenters and adapted to the rustic ambience. Care was taken to ensure that all wooden parts of the house were oiled. The outdoor seating area was made from local wood by the South Styrian armchair maker Scharabon. – Enjoy the southern Styrian regionality in our house. Feel comfortable with us in every season. In spring, when everything is in bloom, in midsummer, when you enjoy the warm nights on our terrace with a breathtaking view of the surrounding area, a glass of wine or a good snack, in autumn, when the leaves change color and you enjoy the storm of wine with freshly roasted chestnuts and in winter, where you can retreat and listen to the crackling of the fire in our old stove. We are very proud of our homeland and the traditions that are lived here. That's why it was so important to us to retain the regional architecture in our holiday home.
