House Residence - Your Home in the Mountains. House Residence is situated on a quiet and sunny slope at Schildlehen, a part of Ramsau. Take your holiday directly below the famous “Dachstein” and enjoy the wonderful scenery of the region in summer as well as in winter. In summer, the region around the “Dachstein” offers plenty of opportunities for exciting outdoor activities. Whether you decide for comfortable hikes to alpine pastures, exciting mountain bike tours or strenuous mountaineering up to the peak of the “Dachstein” - the mountain scenery invites you to enjoy your time outside. Those who desire some thrill will be perfectly satisfied on the numerous climbing paths of various levels of difficulty, or by alpine climbing. Special highlights for sports fans are paragliding tandem flights or paragliding courses. Those who prefer more comfortable excursions may experience the Dachstein glacier via the glacier cable car without a long climb, or simply relax at the swimming pond near to the Rittisberg mountain. The summer bobsleigh track and the high-level rope course near to the Rittisberg offer fun and adventure for all the family. In winter, the offer of leisure time facilities fulfils all wishes. You can reach the ski region Ramsau and Kali’s fun slope on foot in about 10 minutes. The Ski Amadé region with the 4-mountain-ski-link Hauser Kaibling, Planai, Hochwurzen and Reiteralm offers ski fun on numerous kilometres of pistes and is reachable by car within just 20 minutes. Entrances into cross country ski tracks and winter hiking paths are just around the house. At Ramsau you find more than 200 km of prepared pistes for classical cross country skiing as well as for skating. But you can enjoy the mountainous winter scenery not only on skis - a hike along the winter hiking paths, snowshoeing or a ride on the horse sleigh can be recommended. Of course, a ski room is at the disposal of our guests for their sport outfit. Items of value can be stored in our house safe. Our holiday apartments, all in friendly furniture, offer space for 2 - 4 persons. Each apartment has a fully equipped kitchen with fridge, electric stove, microwave, water cooker and dishes for cooking and eating. In the living room you will find a sitting area or a sleeper sofa and Sat-TV and WLAN at no charge. The balcony to the South, with a view on the surrounding mountains, invites to relax and to stay. The bright 6 double rooms in House Residence have a balcony with panorama view and are equipped with a shower, WC, Sat-TV and WLAN. You may, of course, also decide to have breakfast, half-board or sandwich-service. Relax in our comfortable lounge, or get energy on our large sun terrace.
