Arrive, breathe deeply, enjoy - the unique location of the Egger-Gut at 1100 m above sea level at the foot of the Grimming, makes your stay in the Schladming-Dachstein region a special experience. A place of strength where you can draw energy and enjoy the breathtaking mountain panorama. Here the luxury is tranquility!

The Egger-Auszeit has 6 double rooms with a fantastic view of Grimming and Dachstein. All rooms were newly built in 2020, while the furnishings were deliberately designed to combine high-quality materials with the breathtaking feeling of nature. The soft colors and the reduced modern style, reflect the colors and mood of the imposing Grimming.

The cozy Egger-Stüberl serves as breakfast room, here you can expect your individually arranged breakfast, from fresh and regional products, which guarantee a good start into the day.

The special thing about the Egger-Gut is the unbeatable solitary location in the middle of nature with simultaneous connection to the most diverse leisure activities. Numerous walking and hiking trails, varied cycling and e-biking routes as well as the abundance of water in the Schladming-Dachstein region and the beautiful lakes of the Salzkammergut invite you to a relaxing break in the mountains of Austria.

In winter, the central location of our Egger-Gut offers a varied selection of several ski areas. You can reach the chairlift to the Tauplitzalm in a driving time of 10 minutes (https://www.dietauplitz.com/de/winter/). The famous Schladminger 4-mountain ski area Ski amadé with 123 kilometers of slopes is only about 30 minutes from our house (https://www.schladming-dachstein.at/de/Winter).

For those who want to experience the winter a little more quietly but still actively, the Egger-Gut is the perfect retreat to explore the snow-covered landscape away from the slopes on a ski tour, cross-country skiing round as well as winter or snowshoe hikes.

To slow down, we also offer individual yoga sessions by appointment and look forward to welcoming you personally to the Egger-Gut soon.
