The cozy mountain hut is located about an hour from Graz and about 25 minutes from Spielberg on the sunny side of the southern Alps in green Styria, far away from tourist crowds and offers everything the heart desires for those seeking relaxation, families, athletes as well as gourmets!

The house is located on the "Römerweg", a very old trade route. Today you can still see the horse-drawn wagon tracks in the rock. In order to reach the Gasthof Stüblergut, a fortified farm from the 14th century, which is worth seeing, you hike in only 45min over alpine pastures on this fairytale path, in order to enjoy Austrian delicacies at the end!

Families with children and sports enthusiasts can enjoy many activities: ski area Gaberl (ski school), horseback riding, mountain biking, Aqualux Therme, indoor playground, bike paths, outdoor pool, swimming lakes, and much more. We provide you with many valuable tips.

Room details

The house, designed for max 5 people, is located on a small ridge at 1,300 m and is furnished with great attention to detail. A small but fine kitchen, a living / dining area with a pellet stove that conjures up ambience with firelight in the evening. A secluded 30 m² sun terrace with a dream view of the surrounding mountains, often covered with snow until June, is directly accessible from the living room.

Upstairs there is a double bed in a large open area and a large sofa with a view of the mountains & starry sky through the large panoramic window. Furthermore, there is a cozy extra room upstairs with two single beds. In addition to the double bed, there is a "sleeping cave" under the sloping roof for 1-2 people. Heating and electricity supply by solar system are climate neutral. Children can experience nature up close, directly in the forest or at the nearby stream.
