About the Kulmländerei
After a conception phase of just under one and a half years, the Kulmländerei was ceremoniously opened on July 14, 2023! Located in the town center of Pischelsdorf am Kulm, the establishment offers a meeting zone for all age groups with a gastronomy store concept under the motto "koch'n - kost'n - kauf'n".
The heart of the establishment is an integrated gastronomy with a daily changing lunch offer, a down-to-earth kitchen line, seasonal dishes and homemade delicacies. The premises, including the terrace and garden, invite guests to linger and will also provide an appealing setting for events in the future.
Everything from a single source
Driving from farm to farm is now a thing of the past: Kulmländerei is currently supplied by over 70 producers from Kulmland. For all customers, local products are now available from one source and in one place. The accessible store presents the diversity of Eastern Styria and offers a sustainable shopping experience: fruit, vegetables, bread and pastries, dairy products, meat and snack products, jams, spreads, cakes, sweets, coffee from regional roasting, juices, beer, schnapps and much more from local production. An extensive wine assortment from the East Styrian Roman Wine Route in an attractive vinotheque rounds off the offer. Whether grocery shopping, a lunch break, a visit to a café, or tasting fine wines - the new establishment offers the right environment for many occasions.
The logo shows a cornucopia, the apple as well as the vine leaf - two distinctive trademarks that are indispensable in our homeland - are in the center. The cornucopia, a funnel- or bag-shaped wicker basket that was primarily used for the grape harvest, is a mythological symbol of luck and fertility. In the representation of the four seasons, it is primarily associated with the harvest season of autumn. The apple reflects our numerous apple growers in Kulmland and is thus a sign of the rural products in Shop. At the same time, the apple is the tourist feature par excellence, as Kulmland is anchored in apple country. The wine leaf is representative for all winegrowers of the East Styrian Roman Wine Route and pays tribute to the extensive wine assortment in the Kulmländerei. The slogan "koch'n - kost'n - kauf'n" makes you want to visit - whether as a customer in the store or as a guest in the restaurant.
