Where the Welschriesling reaches out to the Schilcher and the gentle hilly landscape rises up to the alpine pasture, where you can feel the power of the earth and enjoy the most beautiful viewpoints in the "Naturpark Südsteiermark".

Experience Oberhaag and its surroundings on marked hiking trails and a romantic gorge. The markings start at the Oberhaag municipal office. However, there are also access points along the way. You can gain a fascinating insight into the mining industry from the viewing pulpit at the quarry of the Styrian diabase works in Kleinlieschen. From the pulpit, you can watch the diabase being extracted or be impressed by the play of colors of the sun in the quarry.
