The principle in our "Ausgezeichnetem Buschenschank" is: We want to combine the best from the region for our guests on a plate. Whether the daily freshly roasted Brüstl (crispy fried belly meat) according to Resi grandma's recipe or the homemade pastries from Chef Heidi - everything is made with a lot of heart and dedication.
In addition to the year-round classics (Brettljause, farmer's salad, etc.), seasonal specialties are always catered for. Products such as free-range eggs, raw ham, highland beef or game specialties all come from direct marketers in the immediate vicinity. Also in the Buschenschank the topic family is written large. Heidi and Resi form a perfect team in the kitchen and create again and again excellent compositions on the plate. In the service the men are challenged - Herbert, Stefan, Markus and Matthias take care of your well-being at the table.
In addition to the dining room and the bar, there is also room to enjoy the inviting sun terrace with about 30 seats. With a view over the vineyards of the districts Schlossberg and Glanz up to the Heiligengeistkirche at the Slovenian border you can philosophize with the winegrowers about the wines. Table reservations are accepted by phone only! Tastings & wine purchase also possible outside opening hours by appointment.
