Hello, it's me, your upcomingvacation home! I'm a rustic hut made of lots of wood and I live in Hohentauern, an idyllic mountain village at almost 1,274 m above sea level. How nice to welcome you soon!

Me and my owners have decided to turn me into a small, peaceful domicile for vacationers. Relaxation, freedom and authentic living. I feel very comfortable with my mission always try to do my best for our guests.

Host information

Your hosts are not far away - only 150 meters "uphill" they are there for you at the reception of "Sloho Bergurlaub" daily (except Wednesday) from 8 - 11 am & from 3 - 6 pm. There you´ll also find a cozy coffee bar and a reagional shop to stop by and just have a cozy time.

On the day of departure, I kindly ask you to release me for the next guests by 10 am. at the latest, in order to give your hosts the opportunity to take sufficient time for the final cleaning. Hello, it's me: Your cozy home in the vacation village of Hohentauern.

I'm a rustic hut made of lots of wood and I live in Hohentauern, an idyllic mountain village at almost 1,274 m above sea level. Yes, I've been around for quite a long time and I've changed many owners since then. It's only in the last few years that I feel I've finaly arrived. Although my owners have already spent many happy hours here, they unfortunately don't have the time to visit me often. They simply didn't want to sell me and would rather show others how nice it is to live with me. So I was turned into a vacation home.

I'm not huge, but therefore really cozy, not a new building. I'm not perfect and I never wanted to be - I'm just an older house with lots of history and a lot of care for my guests. I love listening to the stories of the guests who stay here. Then I can give them beautiful dreams.

I also have 2 siblings in the vacation village. There are three of us and our names are Ulla, Humis and Bergliebe. We are all very different and none of us similar to the other. Our furnishings and equipment are just as different, as we are. Some of us are bigger than the others. Two of us have a beautiful outdoor terrace, while one of us prefers a cozy atmosphere with a winter garden and open fire on cold summer and winter evenings. Some of us also accommodate "guests with four paws", while others are allergy-friendly. In this way, we can meet different wishes and requirements together. When booking, please pay attention to the features I specify and my photos. So there is nothing standing in the way of your time out in the cottage of your dreams.

The cottage "Bergliebe - House 35" is located in the middle of an authentic cottage village in Hohentauern, the smallest community in Styria, a cozy place of well-being for body and soul. The house is suitable for up to 6 people and is in summer the ideal starting point for numerous hikes. In winter you have the possibility to enjoy the winter landscape with snowshoes or skis.

After your tour you will find peace and relaxation in the newly furnished winter garden, where a fireplace invites you to a cozy get-together with your loved ones in the evening hours. With 3 separate bedrooms and even 2 separate bathrooms with WC, it remains quite airy and comfortable even with full occupancy.

The house is accessible by car. A private parking place is available for you in the cottage village.

Although you are on vacation in a small village, there is still everything you need for daily life - cozy inns, restaurants, a grocery store, tourist office together with post office and bank. Larger towns with more shopping facilities are also nearby.
