Quiet & idyllic - welcome to Almhaus "Freitaghube".

The Almhaus "Freitaghube" is situated in the Murtal on the sunny side at 1,100 m above sea level with a magnificent distant view over the mountains of the Seckau Alps.

The proximity to the forest, the meadows and the beautiful view into the valley make the hearts of hiking and nature lovers beat faster. The Almhaus has 3 double rooms, a bathroom with shower and toilet as well as a bathroom with bathtub, living room, kitchen, hunting room and a common room.

In the immediate vicinity you can discover numerous attractive excursion destinations (Red Bull Ring, Aqualux Therme Fohnsdorf, Seckau Abbey, Gaal ski lift, VW Beetle Museum, Planetarium and much more) or simply hike locally in summer or toboggan in winter.

Around the hut you will find numerous retreats to relax. A charcoal grill, seating areas and deck chairs are available for you.

Enjoy the moment, far away from the crowds. The Schlaffer family is looking forward to seeing you!

PS: the hut is rented out all year round and is easily accessible by car.

Room details

The hut is generously furnished with a hunting parlour with tiled stove and sitting area as well as living room for relaxing with TV, 3 bedrooms (including a stone pine bedroom), shower and WC on each floor and a fully equipped kitchen.

In the kitchen there is, among other things, a table cooker for heating, which not only provides warmth, but also makes cooking an experience. Furthermore, a reading corner ensures cosiness and a corner bathtub on the upper floor for relaxing hours.

In the garden you can barbecue in a brick charcoal grill and enjoy the sunset in deck chairs. Bed linen, towels and bath towels as well as a hairdryer and a washing machine are provided.
