Reichraming
The title "gateway to the Kalkalpen National Park" is not an exaggeration! Reichraming is located at the confluence of the Enns and the Reichraming stream, which comes straight from the Hintergebirge. One of two access roads to the national park can be found here.

What guests can look forward to
It was not always as calm in Reichraming as it is now. For centuries, wood was rafted by stream from the Hintergebirge to Reichraming. Giant wooden rakes were used to collect the wood and then it was loaded onto a train. Later a forest railway was even built to make the transport of lumber faster and easier.
