Gesäuse Perle

Admont

The Gesäuse pearl also has a long history. And virtually everyone who grew up in the Gesäuse can tell their own personal pearl story. Regardless of whether it tastes of raspberry, apple-holler or blueberry. The pearl as we know it today, with the cheeky grinning "Pörl" mascot on it, is actually a new edition.

The original Gesäuse Perle already existed many years ago. That was at a time when the Kracherl was called that because it really cracked when the bottle was opened with the swing stopper. These bottles no longer exist today. But you still feel a bit nostalgic when you take your first sip. Because the Gesäuse Perle tastes not only of the five flavours raspberry, blueberry, apple-holler, gooseberry and cranberry, but also of the first ascent to a Gesaeuse hut, the first summit victory and as a reward after a long ski tour.

You can rely on partners.

At the beginning it was not quite so easy to get the first 30,000 glass bottles filled with Gesäuse Perle to the Gesäuse landlord and the refuge lady. Sentences like "No one drinks Kracherl with us!" didn't exactly encourage people at the beginning. But thanks in part to the National Park partnership and the mountain huts that all backed the pearl, inn doors opened and now it's impossible to imagine the region without the Gesäuse pearl, complete with nostalgic mountain memories. Good, because it does not contain any colourings or artificial flavours.
