Schilcherei Jöbstl - Weingartenrundgang #2/Musikalischer Streifzug
General Information
On June 20th the second vineyard tour takes place at the Jöbstl winery, continuing the seasonal series of special guided tours.
In early summer, the development of the vineyards is the focus.
The vines are sprouting, leaves and flowers are forming, and the foundations for the future vintage become visible.
Topics include the growth of the vine, the climatic influences, and the sensitive phases of fruit formation.
During the walk through the vineyards, the essential steps of this phase will be explained – from targeted leaf work to vine care in the tension between nature, climate, and craftsmanship.
A special quality is added to this appointment by the musical accompaniment of the tour.
Sound and landscape enter into an immediate relationship, which intensifies the perception of the surroundings and adds an additional atmospheric layer to the movement through the vineyards.
Wine tasting along the way – commented tasting of selected, frequently awarded wines that make the variety and quality of the Schilcherei impressively tangible.
The conclusion is – as with all tours – a commented cellar tour.
