Schilcherei Jöbstl - Weingartenrundgang #4/Finale: Von der Rebe ins Glas
General Information
On August 15 at 3:00 p.m., on the holiday of the Assumption of Mary, the fourth and final vineyard tour of the year will take place at the Jöbstl winery.
The vines are now in a noticeable transition phase: the grapes have almost reached their ripeness, and the harvest shows the first clear signs of the approaching harvest. Everything in the vineyard converges on the decisive moment of the year – the balance between patience, weather, and the right timing.
Winemaker Hannes Jöbstl leads through this late summer landscape and provides a precise outlook on the upcoming steps: the harvest, the selection of grapes, and the transition to the cellar, where the new vintage will emerge from the matured harvest.
The focus is on both the practical work and the sensitive decisions that determine the quality and character of the wine.
Wine tasting along the way – commented tasting of selected, numerous award-winning wines that impressively showcase the variety and quality of the Schilcherei.
As with all tours, the conclusion will be a guided tour of the cellar.
