The potential of the Baumann family are the vineyards bordering the estate with about 2.5 hectares of vines. According to Franz, "Our microclimate in particular is responsible for a mature and healthy grape crop."
Thus, during the day, the heat is optimally stored by the soil; at night or in cold, cloudy weather, it radiates away. While the incipient cold air can flow down into the valley unhindered.

This cycle provides nice thermals, which ensure optimal aeration of the vineyards. Franz: ,,Most preferred are south, southeast but also southwest sites, as we find well with our wine." The grape varieties Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Blanc, Welschriesling, Sämling 88 and Müller-Thurgau are in production, a small proportion of Zweigelt complements the product range.

The quality wines are marketed in the farm-gate sale, in the wine bar one can taste the noble growths also by the glass. Especially in the covered guest garden with a view over the vineyards, it usually tastes twice as good.
