The short hike leads to the beautifully situated farms in Berg. There you also have a wonderful view of Neumarkt.

The nature park is known for its well-kept farms that lie along the hiking trails. Here you can definitely relax and enjoy the nature of the Murau region away from the main road.

Coming from Judenburg via Unzmarkt to Scheifling. Keep going straight here until you get to Neumarkt. Keep right and drive to Mariahof.

Coming from Tamsweg, drive via Ranten (or Stadl an der Mur) to Murau. Keep right here and drive via Laßnitz and St. Lambrecht to Mariahof.

Public parking spaces are available directly in Mariahof.

Directly from the holiday home you walk along the path, always slightly uphill towards the mountain. Once you have reached the Gruber and Brock farms, you then head back down into the valley towards Hoferdorf. Before the Gasthof Lohr (near Wieland) turn left and follow the sign to Diemersdorf - holiday home "Zur alten Schmiede".
