It is suggested to combine the cave crossing with a mountain hike from Präbichl to Frauenmauer. After the cave passage, the Gsollalm is a good place to stop for refreshments. The mountain hike is located in the
ERZBERG LEOBEN region.
ATTENTION! DUE TO THE CURRENT COVID-19 REGULATIONS, NO GUIDED TOURS THROUGH THE WOMEN'S WALL CAVE ARE PLANNED IN SUMMER 2021! PLEASE NOTE THAT ENTERING THE CAVE WITHOUT AN AUTHORIZED CAVE GUIDE IS PROHIBITED AND DANGEROUS!
[A visit to the Women's Wall Cave is an extraordinary event. The main passage of the Women's Wall Cave runs through the middle of the mountain. It is expressly warned to pass through the cave without an authorized cave guide. Length: 644m, duration of the crossing: approx. 45 MIn.
Local cave guides are available from June 15 to September 15 on all Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. Guided tours at the east entrance at 12 and 14 o'clock and at the west entrance at 11 and 13 o'clock. (no guided tour in case of bad weather)]

From the Murtal via Leoben - Trofaiach - Vordernberg, from the Ennstal via Hieflau u. Eisenerz (both B115) on the Präbichl
We take trail 873 to the Hirscheggsattel, from there continue along trail 873 to the Lamingsattel, then steeply uphill in the direction of the Hochturm to the Leobnermauer junction, from where it takes about half an hour to climb the Leobner wall with its magnificent view of the Reichenstein, Hochturm and Griesmauer. For the way back we choose the route towards Rischeggsattel and continue hiking along the northern slopes of the Griesmauer to Neuwaldeggsattel and the eastern entrance of the Frauenmauer cave. The main entrance of the Frauenmauer Cave runs through the middle of the mountain. From the west entrance of the Frauenmauer Cave via a metal staircase to a newly built path, which leads to the Gsollalm. From the Gsollalm we walk on the forest road to Gsollkehre. (Organize the return trip to Präbichl beforehand).
