Enjoy the peace and quiet of the idyllic floodplain landscape along the River Mur and the unspoilt Attems Moor. Highlights include nature trails, viewing platforms and the Obervogau Bird Observatory. Ideal for nature lovers, and suitable for pushchairs.

Coming from Graz via the A9, take the Vogau exit. Follow the B69 for around 2 km towards Vinofaktur and Genussregal Südsteiermark.

Befestigte Wege und Straße, Moorlehrpfad im Attemsmoor, Kinderwagentauglich.

Von der Vinofaktur mit Genussregal Südsteiermark geht’s Richtung Süden (nach links) entlang der Mur, bevor man in den Ort Straß nach rechts abbiegt. Der Ortstraße Richtung Attemsmorr folgen, im Moor selbst gibt es den Lehrpfad bzw. Waldwege. Über die Straße geht es dann in den Ortsteil Vogau, und von dort zwischen den Äckern und Wiesen nach Obervogau. Im Ortszentrum links kommt man wieder in die Murauen. Ein Stichweg führt zur Vogelwarte Obervogau, nach links Richtung Süden kommt man retour zum Ausgangspunkt.

The Attems Moor is a flow-through bog covering around 15 hectares, featuring a nature trail, a viewing platform and Kneipp facilities – both exciting and educational!

Many starting points for our hikes in southern Styria can also be reached by public transport. For a relaxed and sustainable journey, we recommend travelling by bus and train wherever possible.

Depending on the region, additional local transport options are available. This allows you to start your tour stress-free while also contributing to climate and nature conservation.
