A short and scenic loop hike with views of the mausoleum and Ehrenhausen Castle.

The hike begins right in the center of Ehrenhausen. The route takes you toward LOISIUM and offers a wonderful view of the mausoleum and Ehrenhausen Castle. You’ll hike along forest and meadow paths to the Traussner Mill and then return to Ehrenhausen along the Mur River. A lovely way to explore the area!

Coming from Graz via the A9, take the Vogau exit. Follow the B69 to Ehrenhausen.

Der Weg führt über befestigte Straßen, Schotterwege, Wald- und Wiesenwege.

Vom Neuen Markt bzw. Parkplatz in Ehrenhausen führt der Weg in Richtung „Südsteirische Weinstraße“ bzw. Berghausen. Aber nur wenige Meter außerhalb des Ortszentrums biegt man bereits nach Links ab, in Richtung LOISIUM Wine & Spa Resort Südsteiermark. Man spaziert durch den LOISIUM Weingarten, vorbei am Hotel und durch Wald und über Wiesen zur Traussner-Mühle. Hier geht es entlang der Mur wieder retour nach Ehrenhausen.

A visit to the Traussner-Mühle interactive mill is definitely worth it.
