Solar or wax torches, "smudging" with herbal expert Alexandra Koch, 2 drinks, and a snack, music and a torch dance contribute to a lovely hike.

The route is approximately 5 km long and takes you from Hofer Mill over the Rauch Hof and Bründlwald back to Stainz Castle and back to the starting point of the hike. Here, at the Hofer Mill, the conclusion awaits you with a snack and a glass of Schilcherfrizzante.

Good shoes and walking safety are prerequisites for the hike!

16:30 Welcome of the hikers, preparation for the hike with herbal expert Alexandra Koch at Hofer Mill followed by departure towards Rauch Hof. After almost half of the hike, the second part of the "smudging" and a warm drink (mulled wine or fruit punch) await us. During the smudging, we conclude the old and are open to the new.

At around 18:00 we will light the wax torches on the grounds of the Rauch Hof and continue hiking through Bründlwald to the atmospherically lit Stainz Castle. Here we will be treated to the torch dance by the Stainz folk dance group with fitting music.

After about 5 km we will be back at the Hofer Mill around 19:15/19:30, where a snack and a glass of Frizzante await us to toast to the New Year. 

The map and the torch (depending on weather: solar or wax torch) will be handed out on site at the start of the hike.

Price information:
The price includes the guided hike, 1 warm drink at the stop, the "smudging" with herbal expert Alexandra Koch, the torch dance by the Stainz folk dance group, the rental of the solar or wax torch, as well as a snack and a glass of Frizzante or juice as a conclusion at the Hofer Mill - accompanied by the fire department.
Children up to 16 years can accompany you free of charge, services are not included, various consumptions are to be paid on site.
