On Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m., the oil mills on the Styrian Oil Trail will open their doors and look forward to your visit.
At the traditional "Open Pumpkin Oil Press Day," the most famous pumpkin product takes center stage: pumpkin seed oil. From 10 a.m., visitors can experience live how the green gold of Styria is produced and, of course, taste it right away. Because what could be more delicious than freshly pressed, warm pumpkin seed oil that is not even an hour old and has a wonderfully nutty aroma? By the way: if you fall in love with this pumpkin seed oil on the spot, you can certainly take a bottle or two home with you. A delicious piece - or better yet, a sip - of the oil trail for home.
