Embedded in the unique and idyllic landscape of Southern Styria, the Peter Strauss vineyard is located just outside of Gamlitz on Kranachberg. We manage our vineyards meticulously using experience and a lot of love for nature. Following this principle, we harvest physiologically ripe grapes of the highest quality each year.
Kranachberg and Steinbach – the foundations of our wines.
The Kranachberg vineyard is located at over 500 meters above sea level and is characterized by its south-facing steep slopes and the poor sandy-warm soils, which give our wines a pronounced fruitiness and elegance.

The wines from the Steinbach vineyard impress with their balanced freshness and a particularly cool, elegant note. This is attributed to the gravel and clay content in the soil and the southwest to west exposition of the vineyard located at 320 meters above sea level.
