The brothers Karl and Gustav Strauss run with the family the Strauss vulgo Schopper winery on the Gamlitzberg - this is one of the largest contiguous vineyards in southern Styria. The Gamlitzberg is impressive not only in nature, but also in the glass. Taste and enjoy all year round our variety of wines from Frizzante to Sauvignon Blanc Reserve, with a magnificent view of the Gamlitzberg. Should you be on foot, via the hiking trail No. 5 and 6 you will pass directly by us.

Today's Strauss Winery has been in the family since 1810. The name "Strauss" first appears in the family chronicle in 1948, when Karl and Johanna Strauss took over the business, which their son Karl continued with his wife Juliane Strauss. Today, their sons, Karl and Gustav are successfully working for the winery. While Karl is in charge of sales and company logistics and his wife Sabine is mainly in charge of sales and tastings from the farm, Gustav looks after the vineyards and is responsible for the winery. Gustav and his wife Bettina have created another mainstay with their winery Tscherne-Strauss. Five double rooms with wellness area and a pleasure room, where Bettina takes care of the physical well-being of your guests, are a nice addition to the main house.
