Today we - Willi and Carina - live on the farm with our two sons Leo and Tony. Under the motto "Preserve tradition - allow modernity - live sustainability" we run the farm with much love and passion. Our family farm is located in Obergreith of the market town of Oberhaag. We produce our own wines and operate a farm store with cafe since 2020.
Here we like to think that our wines have character and soul. This means that they are not only great in the glass, but are also produced sustainably. Sustainability runs like a thread through our concept - so we don't carelessly throw away used wine bottles, but have them washed and then refill them with a good drop. This also means that our labels are made of environmentally friendly paper. In the vineyard, we do not use sprays that turn the grass brown and exterminate beneficial insects. Instead, the rows are mowed by hand three times a year, and after the harvest, lead sheep Sophie takes over. From then on, mulching and mowing are no longer the boss's job, but "sheep's business". Once the grass has been trimmed and the leaves have been eaten, winter can come and, as a small side effect, the vineyard has also been fertilized by the sheep.
