Idyllically bedded between old trees and rose bushes, sovereignly furnished in a country house style: The smokehouse looks like a tavern from the old beat. The impression is reinforced by the generous portion sizes and the jovial service; The house has long been one of the best addresses in Western Styria. There is a separate trout pond - fish is not fresher. Excellent trout antipasti, for example, with deliciously sweet and sour marinated fillets, with the chubby-spicy trout soup with fresh coriander or the tender trout fillet in hearty quinoa crust with spinach and potato vegetables (blitva) reminiscent of the Croatia holiday. Meat lovers stick to super crispy roasted spots, to roast beef in broccoli souffle with fine pear chutney and poppy seed oil. Slightly overripe, the onions with onion-seed oil cream, glazed vegetables and fried ricotta bags, perfect the desserts: chocolate tart with raspberry and delicate basil panna cotta with a lovely tart apricot apricot.
