From the harvest to the kitchen at Rauch-Hof takes less time than you can say asparagus tips. What is served here is always as fresh as possible. Over the course of the year, a beautiful culinary arc stretches with this nearly self-sufficient producer – from asparagus grown on their own farm to trout from five farm ponds and regional cheese.
Cozy guest rooms, a blooming garden, fresh fish from their own ponds, and a host family with an excellent sense of enjoyment – the "Rauch-Hof" combines Styrian tradition with creative cuisine. Karin Rauch focuses on regional ingredients, often directly from the in-house farm, with zero kilometers in transport!
Asparagus, pumpkins, potatoes, beans, salads, herbs, and other vegetables come directly from the field. Even the sunflower and pumpkin seed oil is produced in-house. Particularly the freshly caught trout, prepared in a refined manner, are a highlight on the menu. What is not produced themselves is brought to the kitchen by responsible farmers from the region.
The fine wine selection with wines from the nearby vineyards perfectly rounds off the culinary experience.
And for those seeking relaxation after the meal, they can swim in the large natural swimming pond or observe frogs and dragonflies at the shallow children's beach.
