Pfarrkirche Frauental

When the population in Frauental increased after the Second World War, there was also a need to rethink pastoral care for this area. After the completion of the church building, the purchase of an own house, which could be used as a rectory after adaptations, and the establishment of a cemetery, nothing stood in the way of the rectory. Effective July 1, 1958, Bishop Dr. Josef Schoiswohl a new parish at the Church of Our Lady Maria in Frauental, which includes the following area: Zeierling, some houses from Krottendorf, Vochera, Laßnitz, Oberbergla, Schamberg, parts of Gersdorf and Niedergams, Freidorf, some houses from Laßnitz, Wildbachberg, Unterlaufenegg and Bösenbach.
