Information
The approximately 220-year-old farmhouse, built in log construction, was completely renovated by us in early 2018 and equipped with great attention to detail. The approximately 60 m² of living space now offers our guests modern comfort combined with cozy and traditional elements with their own history.
Located near the Slovenian border at about 500 meters above sea level, the house in its quiet and secluded location (cul-de-sac) is an ideal retreat for couples and families who want to relax and enjoy the beautiful area of South Styria.
Children are warmly welcome here and will find optimal places to play and frolic in the meadows and forests right outside the house. The adjacent farmland belonging to the house offers wonderful opportunities for both people and animals (pets are also heartily welcome here!) to explore nature and experience each season with its own beauties and charms.
But relaxation should not be neglected in our holiday home Riegelnegg either.
Whether swimming in the newly constructed covered swimming pool with a beautiful view of the Koralpe, relaxing in the in-house infrared cabin, enjoying a glass of wine on the terrace overlooking the sunset, or simply reading a good book in the cozy parlor – there is something for everyone.
Riegelnegg is the ideal starting point to discover the Experience Region South Styria. Numerous hiking and cycling paths, cozy wine taverns, as well as the South Styrian Wine Route and the Schilcher Wine Route invite you to experience nature, culinary delights, and regional hospitality.
<p>Conditions</p>
The price includes breakfast pastries on weekdays, farm-fresh eggs, honey from our own beekeeping, homemade jams, and a pumpkin seed oil. In our guest garden, you can freely take our vegetables, as well as salads and herbs.
Electricity is excluded and will be charged at €0.25/unit.
