With three toques and three forks, Wirtshaus Steirereck am Pogusch is something like a pilgrimage site for food lovers. The traditional yet exclusive restaurant is famous for Jürgen Schneider’s exquisite cuisine. In addition to the culinary delights served at the Steirereck, you can also enjoy exquisite outdoor experiences there, for instance at the Bründlweg trail at Pogusch, which was named Styria’s most beautiful hiking trail in 2020. If you want to get close to nature, you can spend a night in the woods or next to the goats and sheep in the stables.

Hotel-Restaurant Krainer in Langenwang in the Waldheimat region boasts three toques and three forks. With their degustation menu, Astrid and Andreas Krainer follow the slow food movement.
