Southern Styria Wine Road
The starting point is Ehrenhausen. The wine road winds through Platsch and Berghausen into the heart of the south Styrian wine country. Here a pristine wine and cultural landscapes opens up with vineyards, poplars and windmills.
Now you reach Ratsch an der Weinstraße. A chapel was built here in the early seventies, which is the only chapel in Styria to be dedicated to the patron saint of wine-growers, the holy Urban. The road continues on to Gamlitz. To the west you discover numerous vineyards and wine taverns until you finally reach the small wine-growing village of Sulztal. The end point of the Southern Styria Wine Road is Leutschach.
