The Bogensportverein Thermenland offers its visitors a 3D course in nature all year round, with artificial animals as targets. During a round through this nature course, which is located in a beautiful orchard that smells of apple blossoms in spring and where ripe fruit hangs from the trees in autumn, you have a wonderful view over the Safental. The fresh, good air lets your lungs fill with oxygen in this lovely place in Bad Waltersdorf, where you can feel satisfaction and peace. Holding a bow in your hand, you are far away from the stressful everyday life.

In addition to the 3D course, BSV Thermenland also offers a heated hall for practicing health sports during the winter season. A special feature of archery is that no specific physical requirements are needed; even people with disabilities or limited vision can practice this sport.

Blowpipe sport

When you hear blowpipe, you might think of how some shot at their school friends in the classroom with window putty and straw tubes during their youth. You also think of indigenous people hunting animals with bamboo tubes to eat them.

However, the Bogensportverein Thermenland aims to promote blowpipe shooting as a sport. This sport is performed similarly to archery on the 3D course or in the hall. Like archery, blowpipe shooting is an easy and healthy way to exercise. You mainly train your lungs by taking deep breaths to blow your pin towards the target.

This sport is especially suitable for the whole family and nature-loving people. No special fitness is required for blowpipe shooting, and it can also be practiced by individuals who are not in the best physical shape.
