the Styria thermal spa bus

From Vienna to the Styrian Thermal & Volcanic Land

Together with Österreichische Postbus AG, Thermen- & Vulkanland has created the fastest public connection from Vienna directly to the "land of longing" in Styria. The branded bus runs daily from Vienna's main railway station via the H2O Kindertherme, the Heiltherme Bad Waltersdorf and the Rogner Bad Blumau via the thermal spa capital Fürstenfeld to the thermal spa resort Loipersdorf. On Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, the Thermenland bus also runs to Bad Gleichenberg and Bad Radkersburg and is an environmentally friendly alternative that benefits day visitors, long-term holidaymakers and commuters. As an established year-round destination, the region southeast of Graz with its precious thermal waters in no less than six thermal spas attracts around 1.5 million day guests and 1.9 million overnight guests to the region every year.

The bus connection also opens up new possibilities for long-term guests in the Thermenland: For example, a day trip to Vienna with a visit to the Albertina, Schönbrunn Palace or Zoo, many other sights or a shopping day in the federal capital can be integrated into the spa holiday. But also the numerous sights of the Thermen- & Vulkanland can be easily reached with this bus, because trips within the region are also possible. So you can experience eventful days and enjoy the culinary delights without having to drive yourself.

PS: But the Thermenland bus is not only worthwhile for holidaymakers and day visitors. The local population and commuters also benefit from the daily connection, which takes its passengers comfortably, quickly and safely to Vienna and back.

The Thermenland bus runs twice daily on weekdays between Vienna - H2O Therme - Heiltherme Bad Waltersdorf - Leitersdorf - Rogner Bad Blumau (advance reservation for day admission required) - Fürstenfeld with stops at Grazer Platz and train station - Thermenresort Loipersdorf, and once daily on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays - even as far as Bad Gleichenberg and Bad Radkersburg.
