Pleasure hike with regional delicacies, fine wines & folk music
Every year for 22 years, thousands of visitors from near and far have made the pilgrimage to the traditional "Kellerstöckl hoamsuachn" in the highest municipality of Fehring to be spoiled with regional delicacies from the surrounding wine and fruit growers and wine taverns. In many places, you can listen to selected folk music before the walk continues to one of the many stops along the romantic Kellergassl. Here, the winegrowers serve the fine wines that thrive around the Kuruzzenkogel on mostly volcanic soil. On this culinary pleasure hike, past vineyards, peach and elderberry orchards, you can also enjoy the wonderful view over the Riegersburg to the Hochwechsel as well as over the nearby borders to Hungary and Slovenia. The "Kellerstöckl hoamsuachn" is something of a seasonal kick-off to the musical and culinary highlights that have made Fehring famous and popular as a center of regional culture. The event team and all the participating wine and fruit growers extend a warm welcome to guests!
