The world of Schilcher wine in the southern part of the Schilcher region in southern Styria is fascinating and reveals a secret: Which type of Schilcher are you?

Through six interactive stations, you’ll discover which type of Schilcher you are. You’ll also receive your very own ‘Schilcher Pass’. Along the way, amusing sayings and thought-provoking insights will teach you important facts about the uniqueness and fame of Schilcher, the dazzling wine made from the blue Wildbacher grape. You start at the Nah&Frisch supermarket along the Weiße Sulm. At the bridge, turn right and follow the road until you reach a left-hand bend, from where you can already see the start of the adventure trail, marked by an oversized wine bottle lying on the ground. Passing through the short stretch of woodland, you’ll walk past the interactive stations and through the vineyards to the beautiful courtyard of the Jöbstl Schilcher winery, where you can enjoy a refreshment and chat with the winegrowers. Afterwards, the route takes you back through the vineyards until you reach the large Schilcher bottle again, from where you can stroll leisurely back to Wernersdorf.

Take the A2 motorway to the Lieboch exit. Continue on the B76 towards Eibiswald; in Wies, turn right at the roundabout towards Wernersdorf.
There is plenty of parking available at the information point in Wernersdorf or at the station.

Sie starten beim Infopoint in Wernersdorf. Danach gehen Sie linker Hand vorbei am Nah&Frisch Markt entlang der Weißen Sulm. Bei der Brücke biegen Sie nach rechts ab und gehen der Straße entlang bis zu einer Linkskurve wo Sie schon den Einstieg in den Erlebnisweg sehen mit einer Infotafel und der überdimensionalen Weinflasche am Boden liegend. Durch das kurze Waldstück kommen Sie bei Erlebnisstationen vorbei, durch die Weingarten (Bitte die netten Sprüche beachten) bis zum schönen Hof der Schilcherei Jöbstl wo Sie sich stärken und mit den Winzern ins Gespräch kommen können. Danach geht es durch die Weingärten von Station zu Station bis Sie wieder bei der großen Schilcherflasche angelangt sind und von dort gemütlich nach Wernersdorf zurückwandern können.
