Hike along a section of the natural gem that is the “Schwarze Sulm” and immerse yourself in the refreshing idyll along the mountain stream.
The Schwarze Sulm is part of the Natura 2000 protected area. Here, you can hike through unspoiled nature along the mountain stream, which rises on the Koralm and winds its way into the Sulmtal valley of the same name. In summer, the Kneipp trail offers a particularly good access point to the stream, which provides truly refreshing refreshment. From the starting point at the main square, head towards Heilmoorbad, then turn right just before the Sulm bridge and follow the weir. You will pass the Kneipp trail and the former wood mill before hiking uphill towards Schwanberg Castle. Before Gressenberger Straße, turn left again and walk downhill through the forest. Cross the meadow diagonally to reach the Mörthsulm bridge. Now walk along the stream on the old Garanaser Straße. Take the turn-off onto the forest path and cross the Sulm via the Sulmsteg bridge.
You have reached your destination at the Sulmhütte and can return via the same route.
