Discover geological, archaeological, historical and cultural-historical features.

You start at the former municipal office in Stocking, pass through Hart bei Wildon and continue to Trattenmühle. You then continue via Aug to the Hereschwerken in Wildon, then to the Wurzingerhof inn in Wurzing, on to the Marienhof in Afram and back to the former municipal office in Stocking. Along the hiking trail there are several interesting information boards about the geology, archaeology and history of the region.

Coming from the A9 Pyhrnautobahn - exit Wildon.

From the former municipal office in Stocking via Hart bei Wildon to the Trattenmühle, then on via Aug to the Hereschwerke in Wildon, thento Gasthof Wurzingerhof in Wurzing, further to Marienhof in Afram and back to the former municipal office in Stocking. Along the trail there are some interesting information boards about the geology, archeology and history of the region.

You will pass the “Trattenmühle,” a former cardboard and beer mat factory.

Many starting points for our hikes in southern Styria can also be reached by public transport.

For a relaxed and sustainable journey, we recommend travelling by bus and train wherever possible.

Depending on the region, additional local transport options are available.
