Enjoy the magnificent views and take a break with a tasty snack and excellent wines on this leisurely circular walk in the South Styria adventure region.

Get out into nature and enjoy the local cuisine. Mild evenings invite you to relax, and on this short hike, the crisp Schilcher wine is particularly refreshing. In autumn, the Klapotetz clatters, you look forward to the Schilcher harvest festival, and warm yourself by roasting chestnuts over an open fire. The walk starts at the church square in Eibiswald, heading towards Aichberger via Haiden, before returning to the church square in Eibiswald.

Coming from Graz via the A9, take the A2 towards Klagenfurt at the Graz-West motorway junction. Take the Lieboch exit and follow the B76 towards Lannach-Deutschlandsberg-Hollenegg-Steyregg-Wies-Eibiswald.
Parking is available right next to the church square in Eibiswald.

Kurze, gemütliche Wanderung mit herrlichen Ausblicken. Ab dem Kirchplatz (Wegpunkt 1: Kirchplatz Eibiswald) am Pfarrhof vorbei, der "Grünen Schilcherglasmarkierung" folgend, über die Brücke, von der Sie auf die Saggau mit ihrer Fischleiter blicken. Nach dem Überqueren der Bundesstraße links zur Hauptschule, wo Sie noch das Verwaltungsgebäude des ehemaligen Stahlwerkes erkennen können, in dem um 1870 über 600 Leute beschäftigt waren. Nun wandern Sie entlang des Mariazellerweges (Nr. 506) zum herrschaftlichen Hof Aichberger (Wegpunkt 2: Hof Aichberger), von dem Sie einen wunderbaren Rundblick auf Eibiswald und den Radlkamm haben. Auf Wald- und Wiesenwegen mit Ausblick zur Koralpe über Haiden (Wegpunkt 3: Haiden) zum Weinbauernhof Peiserhof (Wegpunkt 4: Weinbauernhof Peiser). Dort können Sie Weine und Fruchtsäfte verkosten. Sie gehen den Weg bis zur Straße zurück, überqueren die Bundesstraße und folgen der "Grünen Schilcherglas-Markierung" bis zur Hinweistafel Buschenschenke Pichlippi (Wegpunkt 5: Buschenschank Haring vlg. Pichlippi). Bei einem Glas Schilcher genießen Sie dort die herrliche Aussicht auf Eibiswald. Danach wandern Sie gemütlich durch den Pfarrerwald am Eibiswalder Bad (Wegpunkt 6: Pfarrerwald/Freibad Eibiswald) vorbei zurück zum Ausgangspunkt.

Enjoy the view over the market town of Eibiswald from the Aichberger Kogl. A visit to the Klöpfer Museum is highly recommended.
